Our investing philosophy is grounded in two symbiotic schools of thought and practice; classical liberalism, as found in the Austrian school of economics and inspired by the influences of Friedrich August von Hayek and Ludwig von Mieses and the teachings of Graham & Dodd. We focus on value investing in successful and growing businesses in which positive and improving operating fundamentals are visible yet, under-recognized by most investors and management companies. We seek potential before it reaches public awareness and take early-mover positions in undervalued companies. When these companies are "discovered" by the public, we are in a position to take significant gains.
